Sarah UlamSarah Ulam’s work with animal rescue began eight years ago when two stray dogs roamed into her yard. Those stray dogs, “Goldy” and “Oliver” could not have picked a better yard! Today they continue to thrive in a wonderful, loving home with their mom, Sarah. A few years later, Sarah began volunteering at the Trumbull County Dog Pound and found her calling. Her tireless dedication has lead a myriad of dogs and cats to a forever family. Not only does Sarah spend her Saturdays at the pound exercising and caring for the animals, she spends countless hours photographing and videoing the many dogs and cats, capturing their individual personalities. Sarah helps with transporting dogs, fundraising and adoption events. She also spends limitless hours using social media to win the hearts of people in search of that new addition to complete their family. Her foray into fostering lead her to realize she was a “foster failure”. “Hermie” quickly won her heart and now lives with Sarah, Goldy and Oliver in the Cortland, Ohio area. Sarah joins Diane and Linda with unmatched love and devotion to finding forever homes for animals in need.
