Adoption Process
Our adoption process starts with the application. Once the application is approved Animal Pawtectors will contact you to discuss the animal and make sure it's a good fit for you, your family and the animal. We don't adopt our animals on a first come first serve basis. We adopt them to the most qualified applicant, and the best home environment suitable to each animals needs.
Once you are approved to adopt we will set a time for you to meet with the foster to meet the dog/cat. We don't do these meeting until you are approved. We don't want our volunteers spending time meeting with unapproved adopters.
If you chose to move forward with the adoption we will meet again, in your home to sign an adoption contract and your adoption fee is due at this time. If at any time the adoption is not working out you are contractually obligated to contact Animal Pawtectors and return the animal. All of your adoption fee will be returned to you within the first 2 weeks.
Adoption Fees
Our adoption fees vary depending on the age age of the animal.
All animals will be spayed/neutered, tested, vaccinated, dewormed and on heartworm preventative.
